Why Do Professional Photos Matter?

Why do professional photos matter? We all have cameras in the palm of our hand in the form of our phones, so why pay someone? Taking photos yourself on your phone is a different experience than hiring someone to capture special seasons and people in your life. Experience is the key word there. When you hire a professional photographer, you aren’t only paying for the photo themselves, you’re also paying for the experience. It’s about the relief you feel knowing you have this time documented. And it’s about not having to deal with the stress of documenting it yourself.

And of course, it’s about the photos themselves. We have our memories and we have photos (and videos). These are the only things that last from one season to the next, the only ways we can relive moments we can’t get back.. The memories we have are valuable, but they can fade. Photos are forever. Investing in professional photos is investing in your memories and in your legacy. Most things lose value the longer you have them. Photos only grow in value the longer you have them. They become an heirloom that you can pass down from generation to generation.
