let's be friends!
I'm a photographer and educator based in Scottsdale, Arizona! Giving joyful people laughter filled and stress free photos and helping photographers turn their dream to grow their business into a plan that actually works!
Why do professional photos matter? We all have cameras in the palm of our hand in the form of our phones, so why pay someone? Taking photos yourself on your phone is a different experience than hiring someone to capture special seasons and people in your life. Experience is the key word there. When you hire a professional photographer, you aren’t only paying for the photo themselves, you’re also paying for the experience. It’s about the relief you feel knowing you have this time documented. And it’s about not having to deal with the stress of documenting it yourself.
And of course, it’s about the photos themselves. We have our memories and we have photos (and videos). These are the only things that last from one season to the next, the only ways we can relive moments we can’t get back.. The memories we have are valuable, but they can fade. Photos are forever. Investing in professional photos is investing in your memories and in your legacy. Most things lose value the longer you have them. Photos only grow in value the longer you have them. They become an heirloom that you can pass down from generation to generation.
Time is a thief. Invest in yourself, your family, your future family, your business and your memories! Photos matter. Don’t want to take a professional photographer’s word for it? Hear it from my clients!
“I want to remember these moments forever and that’s exactly what photography does. These photos are an heirloom that can be cherished and admired for years to come.” – Bogue Family
“We want to have a running documentation of key moments in our family’s evolution and history. How we’re changing and growing is exciting for us, and having beautiful images to remember this stage is a treat.” – Dawson Family
“These photos make it possible to look back at them and relive the memories of that time. I love being able to reminisce on my senior year through these photos!” – Nikki
“Leah has made it possible for this mother to be IN the photos instead of behind the lens at home. I get to be a part of the memories and be seen. I’m so thankful mom gets to be in the memories!” – Kurchack Family
“As a professional, headshots are often the first impression someone has of me. Making sure the photos reflect who I am and of course show, beauty and confidence is very important. I love having images I’m proud of and can leverage in a lot of different ways. I also had my team get photos with Leah so we had some consistency to the lighting and background when marketing our group. It makes us look like professionals when others see what great photos we have in our marketing materials.” – Christy Walker
“As someone who loves hanging family photos around the house and sharing photos with the grandparents, it was important to me to have a professional come in and help us capture these moments. Additionally, it allowed my husband and I to relax and focus on our littles rather than worrying about timers, selfies, etc. I wanted to have high-quality photos that we could keep forever to capture our littles at this age. I am so happy we made the investment and would make the same decision again.” – Neiffer Family
“It means the world to stop time as it is right now! The kids are growing so fast so I love having these to look back on and treasure forever! I’m so thankful for these photos!” – Van Sande Family
“Life goes by way too fast. Photos are something physical that make it possible to hold onto these fleeting memories! We are so grateful to have these photos!” – Michal and Jason
“Knowing that our family is always growing and changing, these photos give me something to look back at every stage! These images are priceless and will be up in my home for all to see!” – Dunn Family
“These images represent a very special time in our lives. We wanted to capture my maternity journey so we can remember the experience forever and show our firstborn our earliest memories of them! This is something we will treasure forever!” – Wendy and Bret
“The pictures spark memories that we’ll be able to relive for years to come. I cry every time I look back on previous photo shoots and see how much my children have grown.” – Milack Family
“Being able to freeze and capture a special moment in time, knowing your kids are only that age once, is a lifetime treasure.” – Smith Family
“Kids grow so quickly. I am constantly taking my own photos on my phone, but I really love having professional ones taken. Everyone is looking their best and the joy and laughter are still seen in the photos.” – Sidler Family
“I think sometimes life can overwhelm us with so many things. Personally, I believe it is important to recognize and celebrate achievements, a family, or nature. It means so much to me that in fifty years I will be able to look back on these and reflect.” – Lorena
“My husband and I love to get our family pictures done every year because it’s such an amazing way to see how our girls are growing up. Having them framed in our home to look at and admire is such an incredible way to reflect daily on the life you have built with your family. Seeing them reminds me to have continuous gratitude for everything I have in life.” – Mahar Family
“We will CHERISH these images. It means the world to us to have captured this special time in our life with our baby girl. Time moves so quickly, but we now have these images to remind us of this incredible (and chaotic!) time.” – Alexis Phelps
“Life moves so fast and babies grow so quickly! I never want to forget the tiny details of my babies in these monumental times in our lives! Photos are SO important to me! Also, I’m always the one taking the pictures, so I like to jump in a few time to time. ;)” – Dunn Family
“It honors my college experience and is a big stepping stone in my life. These images will always represent my college memories, everything I’ve learned along the way, those who helped me get here, and my journey.” – Jodi
