Chante and Cody are quite the team in the business world, and now they’re quite the team in the parenting world! They have a business called Chisel Built. Cody is an incredible builder and the things he can create with his hands are incredible! And Chante is an inspired, interior designer who brings the homes that Cody builds to life! And that explains why their home, where this newborn shoot and Chante’s maternity shoot was done, is so gorgeous!

I love all newborn sessions, but the newborn sessions with first time parents are always some of my favorites! It’s so beautiful to be able to watch them stare at their baby with such awe and adoration. And to see their patience as we experience a photo shoot with their baby, and the unexpected pauses that come up, for the first time together. This family is full of talent and beauty and I loved being able to capture River during his first few weeks of being alive! :)
