Downtown Phoenix Family Session | Wallwork Family

Can you believe the first time I photographed this family was 8 years ago?! It was in the fall of 2012 which was the beginning of my photography career. That fall was the first time I had people that I didn’t know personally, PAY me for photos. But this family? I did know them personally! I’ve known Alison and Aryan for over 13 years before, before three of these young boys were even born. And I can’t overstate what a privilege it has been to watch them grow right in front of my camera!

You’d think a family session with 4 boys would be chaos, but not with this crew! These boys are so respectful and are always ready to take photos! Probably because it only happens once a year. ;) I also LOVE how Alison styled this family! She took advantage of bouncing outfit ideas off of me during the planning stage of our session (which I highly encourage) and I loved being a part of it! This is exactly the kind of styling I love to photograph! The outfits flow, they fit and they coordinate but no one is matching and there’s not too much of one color. They’re cohesive, but no one gets lost in the shuffle so everybody can shine through individually!
