Bold and bright colors in the desert?! Yes, please! I always love to be a part of the styling process! And if you book a session with me, you’ll find that out through my style guide and see how I volunteer myself to help with outfits in any way that I can! With this family, I was VERY involved in the styling and that’s because this is my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew who I adore!! I know bold and bright colors aren’t really “in” right now, but I’ve never been too concerned with what’s “in” and just care more about what I like! I’m glad my sister, Lindsay, loved these outfits too! And can we give it up for my brother-in-law wearing a full-on suit in 100+ degree weather in the desert sun?! He made it work!

This was just a quick session because it was just meant to be an excuse to get my brother and his girlfriend to this location too. My brother, Nick, told his girlfriend, Sarah, that I was going to be taking photos of my sister and her family, so the two of them should come and get a few photos too! But really, the only reason we were taking photos of my sister’s family in the first place was to capture my brother PROPOSING to his girlfriend in this beautiful, desert spot!
