Van Sande | Family

I spend over 5 years as a nanny and childcare provider before I started doing photography professionally. I even worked for a babysitting agency, which means I’ve babysat hundreds of different children in dozens of different homes. When it comes to children, I feel like I’ve seen it all. Because of this, when I go into family sessions, I don’t expect children to listen to me. I don’t expect them to sit still and smile. And I don’t expect them to love getting their photo taken.

Enter the Van Sande family. These children took me by  complete surprise! They stood still, smiled, laughed and listened to whatever I asked them to do. It was shocking, in the best way. They must realize how adorable they are and believe the world needs to see lovely photos of them! ;) Even though I’m sure Brianne would admit that they don’t behave this way all the time, because what child does? Haha.

This family was such a joy to work with in every possible way! And I’m so grateful they were flexible with the location  change I mentioned in the previous blog post! Their infectious, joyful, attitudes made this such an amazing experience for all of us! :)
