Soto | Family

This session was from my first mini session date of the fall season, and it did not go as planned. We were meant to be at a different location. A location I had permission to shoot at and was fully aware of their calendar of events. But, the paranoid person that I am, always wanting to make sure shoots go as planned, I called the venue a couple hours before the mini sessions to double check. And that’s when they told me they ended up booking an event that date and didn’t update their calendar. I was as close as I get to panicking. I quickly thought of nearby locations that I could use instead and called my clients to tell them about the VERY last minute change of locations and apologize.

In my head, I prepare for this. And when clients books a mini session, I make it known that I don’t have full control over the weather (obviously) or the locations. But, of course, I still don’t want to have to change it. Needless to say, I’m SO grateful to have such incredible and flexible clients! A couple of them even said they preferred this location over the other, haha.

And this cute crew was one of those clients that rolled with the last minute changes, were flexible and still managed to have happy attitudes through it all! But, who wouldn’t be happy while looking at how adorable Gwen is! She is seriously precious and made me feel better about the last minute change too! ;)
