let's be friends!
I'm a photographer and educator based in Scottsdale, Arizona! Giving joyful people laughter filled and stress free photos and helping photographers turn their dream to grow their business into a plan that actually works!
I first did a shoot with Brooke and her pink hair last year, because obviously I love color and wanted to photograph ALL that pink hair! I get along with pretty much everyone, because I think it’s a choice to get along with people or not, so that’s what I choose! But there are still some people where it’s so effortless and you can’t help but feel instantly comfortable around them, and Brooke it one of those people. Clearly, she’s a stunner. But she’s so much more than a beautiful face! She is kind and thoughtful and funny and considerate and adventurous!
She also encouraged me to be adventurous too. When we met up, we planned to meet in a parking garage that turned out to be closed for the night with signs in front of all the entrances that said “exit only”… but Brooke told me she was in the parking garage. I called her to find out if I was at the right one since it was closed and she said she went in through the exit and drove in anyway. It’s sad how scared I was to do this. I use to be a wild teenager, okay, let me rephrase. I use to be a careless teenager. I broke into a concert, stalked celebrities and had no problem lying to security guards. My “wild” days didn’t include the “normal” teenage things, they most included celebrities. Things have changed as I’ve grown older, naturally. Haha. But I wanted to be brave like Brooke and drive in through that exit anyway! So that’s what I did and it felt exhilarating! I’m not being sarcastic, I told her that was the most alive I’ve felt in a long time. Simply because, I’ve settled into a comfortable and predictable life. Yes, it’s totally silly that this made me feel alive, but I chased that moment for the rest of the shoot and it was pretty fun! And now I’m back to following the rules…. mostly. ;)
I'd love to hear from you!
