let's be friends!
I'm a photographer and educator based in Scottsdale, Arizona! Giving joyful people laughter filled and stress free photos and helping photographers turn their dream to grow their business into a plan that actually works!
I wanted to write this Wisdom Wednesday last week, but last week I was actually feeling like I was at the end of my rope and it was a little too hard to write it while I hadn’t yet made the choice to hang on. I’d love to share what I’m going through, because I try my best to be vulnerable and open, but I just don’t think it’s time yet. To anyone else, my “problems” will seem small, but to me they are hard NOT to see. I know there are times in all of our lives where giving up seems like the only option. There are times when it’s hard to HAVE HOPE, because all you can see is what’s in front of you and not what COULD be. It’s hard to believe that things are going to get better, when you feel like they are still getting worse. But, it’s POSSIBLE. It’s possible to have faith in what you can’t see and it’s possible to hope for something that seems so far out of reach. It’s possible to keep pushing forward when you feel like you’re being pushed down and it’s possible to hang on when you think there’s nothing left to hang onto. Last week I wasn’t there, last week I wasn’t yet at the place where I believed things were getting better. I was dwelling on the fact that things were staying the same, although it felt a whole lot like things were getting worse. But, I have faith in a God who is delicately orchestrating my life even though I can’t see or comprehend it. I trust Him and I know that while I’m working through things, He’s working on me. I trust that when I see something as “the end”… He sees it as a NEW BEGINNING! Believe that there is MORE than what you can SEE and trust that there is MORE when you think that it’s over. Hang on.
