McLennan | Family

I took photos for this family almost a year ago and it was instantly one of my favorite family sessions ever! Now, after taking photos of them for a second time… with a new family member…. this is officially my NEW favorite family session ever!!! Ben and Becky have been in my life for a while and they hold a very special place in my heart! Nothing makes me happier than to see such a beautiful family, loving and celebrating each other!! For the past couples years they have been going through a wild and life changing journey, starting from discovering infertility all the way to going through the process of adoption through fostering! Becky tells her story far more beautifully than I ever could over on her blog, Milk & Honey! It is inspiring and encouraging and I think you should give it a read! ;)
 
This is such a special session because it is a CELEBRATION!!! They are officially adopting all three of these adorable children and they wanted to make sure they had plenty of photos to document this exciting and momentous event in their life!! I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this story!! :) When I was showing Becky the photos on the back of my camera at their session, she kept using the phrase, “Oh my stars!” … and I think that is the perfect expressions for this session!
