let's be friends!
I'm a photographer and educator based in Scottsdale, Arizona! Giving joyful people laughter filled and stress free photos and helping photographers turn their dream to grow their business into a plan that actually works!
I love this time of year! New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day are some of my favorite days of the year! I love New Year’s Eve because I get to spend time with some of the people who made my year so special and talk about all of our memories and favorite moments from the year! I love New Year’s Day because, well, it’s the start of a new year! It’s the beginning of a fresh start, so to speak. It’s the time to dream new dreams, rekindle old dreams and hope for something new and exciting! It’s a time for creating goals, being thankful for the year that’s passed and looking forward to learning and growing in the year to come! :)
This is my second time doing a “Favorites of…” post! My first one was last year with my Favorites of 2013 and even looking back on that post, it feels like forever ago! This year was AMAZING! I had the opportunity to shoot some amazing and beautiful people and to learn from talented photographers. I also had the opportunity to shoot in Portland, OR which was like a dream for me! The nature and beauty there will never grow old to me, it is breathtaking and I feel so blessed to have been able to spend my summer there taking photos! Oh, and this is the year I could officially start calling myself a PUBLISHED photographer! :) Although, I never really did, but it’s nice to think about every once in a while! ;) I’m so thankful for all the new things I’ve learned in photography and every step that I’ve taken in building my business and honing my craft, no matter how small those steps seemed at the time! Looking at the photos from this year, I see so many things I could have done differently or better, and I think that will always be the case. I hope I continue to grow forever, I hope to never peak. I’m proud of these photos and where I’m at now, but I’m SO looking forward to a new year, photographing new places and people and learning new things! And I’m looking forward to the day where I look back at these photos and feels as if these were taken in a different lifetime. :)
It was so hard for me to even narrow them down to these favorites, but I narrowed it down as much as I could! :) Thank YOU for supporting me and growing with me! I’m looking forward to new adventures in 2015!!! :)
I'd love to hear from you!
