Yesterday I posted one of the most vulnerable blog posts I have ever written, instead of telling you what I wrote, you can see it for yourself here. After I posted that, in the past 24 hours I have been overwhelmed with more LOVE and ENCOURAGEMENT than I’ve ever known!! I am so thankful that some found my post inspiring, some even called me brave. There were many things I was feeling while writing that blog post. I was feeling anxious, scared, worried and insecure. I definitely was not feeling brave, or courageous, or strong but I am so thankful that somehow others saw that in me when I couldn’t even see it in myself. I feel so incredibly BLESSED by ALL the people that took the time to contact me via my website, text, email, Facebook comments and messages… I have read every single word and I feel so loved and I’m so happy that I shared what was on my heart! I officially love being vulnerable. Haha. I was so scared to post what was on my heart, but after I did, I felt more personally connected to more people than I have ever felt connected to! I feel like this is how life is meant to be lived. Being honest, being transparent and being vulnerable. It’s such a beautiful thing to see and hear that others feel and have felt the same things that you have felt. It’s comforting knowing you’re not alone. It’s so much more rewarding SHARING than keeping things inside. THANK YOU for letting me share with you! :)
This song, “The Sun Is Rising” by Britt Nicole has been on repeat for me the past week or so. I first heard it over the summer in the movie, The Other Woman, haha. It’s a hilariously entertaining movie, and when this song came on towards the end, I instantly loved it! I could tell it was Britt Nicole just by her voice, she has so many beautiful and inspiring songs! :) This song, these lyrics, they have helped me so much with what I’m currently going through. These words remind me that my problems are only temporary. They remind me that there is a brighter future if I can just hold on through the struggles. They remind me that everything is going to be okay. I’m going to be okay. YOU’RE going to be okay. You’re gonna make it. Just hold on! THE SUN IS RISING!!! :)
Love this song! I heard it in the Other Woman as well. It’s incredibly powerful. Thank you for being you, sharing your heart and stepping out of your comfort zone. Beautiful inside and out!
