I think it’s important to remember that there is so much more to a person than what we see. There is so much more to a person than what they CHOOSE to show us. There is so much more to a person than first impressions or second impressions or third impressions. There is more than what our friends tell us. There is more than what we see on social media. There is always MORE. We never know the whole story. We’ve all heard the iceberg metaphor, right? We’re only seeing 10% on top of the surface, but there is another 90% below the water that we don’t see. There is always more to the story. Accept that just because we think something about someone… doesn’t mean that is actually who they are. Accept that sometimes we’re wrong. Give people second chances. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Look for the good instead of looking for the bad. Forgive.
I'd love to hear from you!
