Scottsdale, Arizona Desert Surprise Baby Announcement Couple Pictures

I’ve done a few baby announcements shoots where a couple is telling the world they’re pregnant through the photos I take of them. But this was my first baby announcement that was a surprise to half the people in the photos! Amira let me know she wanted to surprise Justin with the exciting news that she was pregnant DURING their couple photos. I was thrilled! It’s always pretty fun to be one of the first ones in on a secret! And also, getting to see Justin’s reaction and capture that for them to have this moment saved forever was a pretty special thing for me to be a part of!

We did the first half of the shoot like I would approach a typical couple’s session. Justin thought they were each exchanging sweet messages to each other via a letter board. He wrote his message first and shared it with Amira. Little did he know, her message was a shocking announcement he did not see coming! It took him a couple of seconds to realize it wasn’t a joke! ;) Make sure you scroll down to see his reaction!
