Happy New Year and happy 2020! Last year was life-changing for my business! I grew my business more in the last 6 months than I did in the 5 years before that. It’s not that I wasn’t growing before, I’ve always made an effort to grow in my craft. However, I wasn’t trying to grow in my business. Because, let’s be real, the business side of owning a business is my least favorite part. I know, that doesn’t really work, haha. When I say I wasn’t trying to grow in my business, I mean that I wanted to grow, but I didn’t actually make changes that would force growth. I was just waiting. Waiting for my business to grow without realizing that’s MY job. I’m responsible for how much or how little my business grows. If I want change, I have to make changes.

So, I did. I joined a mastermind!

If you’re not familiar with the concept, a mastermind is a mentoring group intended to help you grow in an area of your life. My mastermind has a leader and 20 other members! I have one on one time with my business coach (the leader) every month and also have weekly calls with the whole group! Additionally, I don’t only get the knowledge and expertise of my leader, I also get the support and advice from the other members as well!

This mastermind has been the best investment that I’ve ever made for my business. Not only has it given me the tools and confidence to grow my business, but it’s also motivated me to make changes in my personal life! It turned out to be a decision that changed the course of 2019 for me! And I’ll be staying in the group through 2020! I’m excited to see where this year takes me as well!

Being a part of the mastermind was truly one of the highlights of my year! I had a busier fall season than I’ve ever had before! There have been a lot of changes made in my business this past year and they’re all for the better! I’m looking forward to all the growth that is still to come!

Until then, I gathered some of my favorite photos from sessions this past year and I wanted to share those with you! :) I’m thankful for every single session I’ve had this past year. It’s truly an honor to do what I do! This doesn’t come close to all the sessions I’ve done this year, these are just some of the ones I want to share!
