Favorites of 2018!

Another year down! And I’m still feeling just as blessed as ever to be able to do something I love as a job! This year happened to be extra special for me though! Because this year, I became an AUNT for the first time ever! AND, I got to be the one to document it! I capture my sister’s maternity photos, took photos of them in the hospital after Lincoln arrived and then did another set of lifestyle newborn photos! It gave my job a whole new purpose and I love that I was able to document their journey into parenthood!

This is also the year that I found a new love for lifestyle, at home sessions! There is something so fun about going into people’s homes and capturing them just being a family or a couple together! I love outdoor sessions, the light from the sun is glowing! But I love that I have a new appreciation for indoor, lifestyle photography now too!

I say this every year, and I’ll say it again. These aren’t photos from EVERY session I’ve done this past year. They just happen to be some of my favorites! And my favorites are favorites for a variety of reasons! It could be the location, the outfits, the people, the lighting, it’s always something different that makes a photo one I really love!
