let's be friends!
I'm a photographer and educator based in Scottsdale, Arizona! Giving joyful people laughter filled and stress free photos and helping photographers turn their dream to grow their business into a plan that actually works!
Last summer, I took photos of Marina with her adorable baby boy in her stomach, at this exact same location in Oregon! That was a session that became very special to me, which is why it was such a joy to be able to come back to the same spot with her husband, Alan, and with Mason being outside of her belly. ;) I’m grateful to Mountainside Lavender Farm in Hillsboro for letting us use their gorgeous land two years in a row! :) Although Mason decided to remain completely serious (but ADORABLE) during this whole session, haha, I still love all the photos of this family that just lights up with love for each other! And at the end of the shoot, Marina and I decided to take a few more photos, because can you ever have enough photos in a Lavender field?! No, the answer is no. Haha. :)
You can see last summer’s maternity session with Marina here. Looking at these sessions side by side, the differences in my editing style are incredibly noticeable. This past year I’ve really been trying to nail down my editing style, and some of the includes experimenting. I feel like I’m still working towards a consistent editing in all of my photos as I’m discovering what I love and how I want my photos to look and feel like. Even with the huge editing differences, mostly in the coloring, of both of these sessions, I still LOVE them both!! :)
Mason was so serious… but also seriously adorable. So it works. ;)I loved seeing the love that these two have for each other!
He officially has the GQ face down. ;)LOVE when she twirls in this dress!Marina, you are so BEAUTIFUL!I saw the moon and the color of the sky and asked Marina to stand right there. I had never been able to get both the moon and the subject well lit in the same photo…. but I’m so glad we tried because it worked and I LOVE it!! :)
Oregon, I miss you.
I'd love to hear from you!
