Sunrise Desert Engagement | Vivian & Tom

The majority of my sessions happens at sunset. Occasionally, I have clients who are morning people, like Vivian and Tom, and looking their best with the happiest of attitudes at sunrise! Every time a sunrise session rolls around, I’m reminded of how there is something about that morning light that can’t be beat. Especially when it’s rising over the mountains like in this session!

Vivian and Tom met each other just a few days before graduating from the University of Florida. Vivian was heading to Phoenix to start medical school and Tom was staying in Florida to work. They grew their relationship throughout almost two years of being long distance. After all that time, Tom was able to accept a job in Phoenix and they could finally be together!

They’ve been through a lot of the past few years but got through everything together as a team! I absolutely love that! Capturing these engagement photos for them in the city where they could finally start their lives together was such an honor for me!
