Sunrise sessions in the summer mean waking up early. Like, really early. Somehow this family of five managed to get up early and look amazing for their session! And when you see these photos with that sunrise glow, you’ll know it was worth it! Oh, and did I mentioned they woke up early while on vacation? This gorgeous family was visiting the Scottsdale area on a road trip. They decided they wanted to get some photos in the desert scenery before they left. It turns out, Lana’s sister had been following me on Instagram and recommended me.

I’m so thankful her sister told her about me because I loved meeting this family! I’ll be honest, there are many days I would rather switch places with them. They’re from Washington and that is one of my favorite places to be! But while I’m in Arizona, I’ll happily keep photographing families in the desert! It’s a different kind of beautiful than Washington, but it’s home to me. I love the desert and I love the photos of this sweet family!
