Scottsdale, Arizona Desert Extended Family Photographer Photo Session

This is my third session with the Montgomery and Averill families! Katie and Julie are sisters who both live in Scottsdale, so they combine their photo sessions! For the most part, I’m just capturing their families separately. This way they can take advantage of splitting a session fee, which is fine with me! I always want people to get as much out of their session as they can! And as long as you’re getting photos, I’m happy! :)

At past sessions, they’ve told me about their sister Kristin who has a family as well, but they live out of town. And that’s why they haven’t wanted to take photos combining their families at previous sessions, because Kristin wouldn’t get to be in them! Well, for Christmas this past season, Kristin’s family came to town! And so did the parents of the three sisters, the ones who started it all, the Rosema’s! After two years of hearing about the whole family, I was ecstatic to get the chance to photograph them ALL together!

Even though everyone was hoping for some sun, they still had the biggest smiles on their faces during this cloudy day session! How could you not when you’re with your entire family?! And thankfully the rain held off for the majority of the session. After we took what I was already planning to be the last few photos, it started sprinkling. We did a silly, jumping photo… because why not? And then hurried to our cars right before it started to pour! It was kind of perfect!
