I never know exactly how I’m going to feel about cloudy weather weather on photo shoots. The lighting can vary so much depending on what kind of clouds. Sometimes, I’m disappointed because I was looking forward to the sun. Sometimes, I’m thankful because the cloud coverage gives me more control over what areas we can shoot in. And we didn’t have the sun for this session, but we also didn’t just have a plain cloudy day, we had some dark clouds one side of the sky while the sun was providing light behind some light clouds on the other side. And it turns out, this is lighting that I LOVE! Because I’m a fan of dark, dramatic clouds and I love how they add to this session! I’m so glad Nicolette rolled with this weather! But let’s be real, she could look beautiful anywhere and anytime. I love the outfits she chose and how they worked with this atmosphere and the weather we had! She is such a gorgeous and sweet girl and I loved being able to capture these senior photos for her!
