Marissa | Portraits

Before sessions, I talk with my clients (I still very much dislike using that word, I’d rather say “friends” but for the sake of everyone understanding, I say “clients”) about what kind of atmosphere they would like for their photo shoot and that’s how we choose a location! But, once Marissa and I decided to collaborate on this shoot, she told me that I could choose the location… I could choose WHATEVER I wanted! So, I told her about this spot that I’ve been eyeing whenever I drive up north, I warned her that it would be a long drive… and that it would have to be a sunrise session because of the angle that I wanted to photograph on the field. A sunrise session at a location that is over an hour away from us, meant waking up at 4am. And when I told her about this idea… she willingly and excitingly said YES! And I’m ECSTATIC that she did because we had such an amazing time on the drive up there and back down, talking about all sorts of thing! And because I LOVE the photos!! :)
