Makayla and Chancelor | Couple

I had been looking forward to this shoot before I even got to Portland, when I first planned it with Makayla. I love shoots with couples that are so in love with each other and these two also happen to be beautiful and photogenic!! I loved spending some time with them on the Columbia River Gorge! We had plans to go to a certain area, but on the way there, I saw this forest with the light being absolutely gorgeous shining through the trees and I just couldn’t resist taking photos of them there! We were in a very shaded area, with very little light coming in, so there is uneven light on their faces and some shadows in some places… haha. But as I was taking the photos I had to tell my head that sometimes the technical things don’t matter as much, and I listened to my heart saying, “Look at that LIGHT!!” I’m so happy we got to do some photos in both locations!! :)

Apparently, in Oregon, there are bushes filled with berries in random places and you can just eat them right off the plant. While I was taking some photos of Makayla, Chancelor went to pick some and I had to get a few photos of them! Oh, and I had some too, and OH MY GOODNESS!! Those were the best berries I’ve ever had!! :)
