Smith | Newborn

I recently took maternity photos for this adorable and sweet family, so I was more than excited to take photos of their precious baby boy! I have discovered that classic newborn sessions are not some of my best work, which is why I’ve decided to only do lifestyle newborn photography. More than just wrapping the baby up and putting him in all different scenarios, I want to showcase the love the parents have for their new addition and portray their changed life through photos. Of course, I might put a baby in a basket or a bucket every once in a while, because who doesn’t love that?! Haha. But my main priority in newborn sessions is to document this time in the family’s life. Sessions like these remind me what a special job I have, I am so grateful for these moments! ReAnne and Wayne are truly an amazingly kind couple and their family is absolutely beautiful!
